5 Low maintenance plants

1. Sansevieria
Indoor plant, special for its fleshy straight long leaves, which depending on the species differs in patterns and colors. Maintenance is not demanding. Able to withstand direct sunlight, but also can be in the shades. It does not like high humidity in the air and can stand close to the radiator.

2. Dracaena
Plant with soft and curved green or reddish leaves. Can grow from one to three meters. It grows rather slowly but it's long-lasting. It ios best to put it in the bright room, but away from direct sunlight. The ideal temperature for growth is 17 to 27 degrees and during the winter it can be a little lower. In the winter watering should be reduced.

3. Ficus Elastica
The plant which is recognizable by its large green leaves. For ficus two things are important for maintenance, provide sufficient warmth and moisture. Ficus likes half shadow. Once you select a place, do not move it, because they don't like it. When you are choosing the place for your ficus, avoid the vicinity of the front door, radiators, and air conditioners.

4. Philodendron
One of the most resistant types of room plants. Some types of philodendron can grow leaves who can reach more than a meter in diameter, they are dark green with marked holes, and they are extremely fit for any interior. Philodendron originates from tropical regions, where it grows in nature. They are not picky in room conditions. It is enough if you provide temperature above 15 degrees and plenty of humidity. Once a week leaves should be wiped from dust with a sponge soaked in water.

5. Yucca tree
Yucca likes very bright places, but can also be exposed to direct sunlight. Some types can spend the winter outdoors. They tolerate dry air, warm and medium cool places, but they progress best at a moderate temperature of 10 to 18 degrees. In recent years there have been appeared new kinds, with decorative shapes and colored leaves, but their resistance is a common feature of the original "tree of life''.
