How to care for a Euphorbia Trigona

Euphorbia Trigona is also called African milk tree because when you make some injury to the plant it
excretes milky fluid from the injury. It originates from Africa so it does not need a lot of water.
They tend to grow really high, so you should think about that when you plant your euphorbia.

Euphorbia has one main stem that branches in all directions once the plant starts to grow.
Keep your plant away from direct sun, because it can get burns. In the summer you should water your euphorbia once a week, only when the soil is completely dry. Your plant may loose it's leaves in the winter, but that's normal. Leaves will grow again in the spring.
Milk that euphorbia excrete can cause an allergic reaction in some people, so wear gloves when you are planting or grooming your plant. If some of the branches dried up just cut them, the new one will grow up. You can also cut some of the branches and replant them that way you get a new plant.
