Ficus benjamina

Ficus Benjamina is also known as Weeping fig or Ficus tree. It's a decorative tree that you can keep in your house, although they can grow really big with good care.

You should replant your ficus in a bigger pot for the first few years, later you should only replace the surface layer of the soil. In the summer you should water them twice a week, and in the winter only when the soil gets dry, they don't like too much water. But they like to be sprinkled on regular basis, you can shower them from time to time.
By trimming your benjamin you can shape him. If you trim lateral branches your benjamin will grow in heights, and if you trim the top branches your plant will get the shape like a bush.
They don't like direct sunlight, so its best to keep them in a half shadow, and in the summer you can place them on the terrace or in your yard.
They don't grow very fast, but it's worth waiting because they are truly magnificent plants.
When you trim your benjamin you can place the branches you cut in the water and wait until they grow roots, then you can have more of these beautiful plants.
There are many kinds of benjamins trees but I prefer the one with the colorful leaves, but I have the one colored too.
Care is the same for all types of Benjamina.
